Ugandan Olympic weightlifter charged with cheating | Sport

sport">After returning to Kampala, the young weightlifter, who competes in the 67 kilogram category, was arrested by the police. He was imprisoned for five days. According to his lawyer, that should not have been allowed given the offense. Representatives of Ugandan sports federations, including the weightlifting federation, also asked for his release and leniency because Ssekitoleko comes from a poor family and had no intention of harm but just an Olympic dream.
