“Uganda Rules Out Ebola Outbreak After Suspected Case Tests Negative: Ministry of Health Statement”

Uganda has ruled out an Ebola outbreak after lab results from a suspected case were negative. PCR tests carried out on a suspected fatal case of Ebola in Buwenge, Jinja district, eastern Uganda, came back negative for viral haemorrhagic fevers, the Ugandan Ministry of Health said in a statement. tweet.
Viral hemorrhagic fevers are illnesses caused by several types of viruses. Some of these viruses cause mild illnesses, while others cause life-threatening illnesses for which there is no known cure. The Ebola virus is one of the best known of this group.
