Salt Lake City will become the home of global MMA this Saturday to host UFC 307, the first of the company’s two numbered events this October. The evening’s card will be headlined by two headline fights: Pereira vs Rountree Jr and Pennington vs Peña, two of the most explosive fights that can be experienced in both categories.
Despite the cancellation of the fight between Aljamain Sterling and Movsar Evloev, this event remains one of the most interesting of the year, thanks in large part to the return of ‘Poatan’ to the cage. The Brazilian could become the best fighter of the year by adding one more victory in his third starting defense of 2024 and adding 4 fights in the last 11 months.
