Dricus du Plessis Submits Israel Adesanya in the Fourth Round to Retain UFC Middleweight Title: In a comeback in style, the Nigerian showed great form, but it was not enough to finish off the explosive champion. Izzy dominated much of the match, but the South African caught him at a moment when he was in trouble to perform a knockout blow.
Kai Kara-France knocks out Steve Erceg in the first round: The Australian was in control of the fight, stopping the New Zealander’s quick attacks and keeping his distance. He was doing everything right, until a left hook from Kara-France knocked him down. On the ground, he finished him off against the fence.
Dan Hooker wins by split decision (29-28, 28-29, 29-28) over Mateusz Gamrot: In a duel that had all the fans on their feet, the New Zealander won a bloody fight against Gamrot. The Pole was unable to impose his fight, constantly going for the takedown, and Hooker won the exchanges.
Jairzinho Rozenstruik wins by split decision (29-28, 27-30 and 30-27) against Tai Tuivasa: As usual in his recent fights, the Australian has not found his place in the cage. The Brazilian landed the best punches, leaving him knocked down on several occasions, and putting in a much better fight. Tuivasa signs his fifth consecutive defeat.
Carlos Prates knocks out Li Jingliang in the second round: The Brazilian controlled the fight from the start. He knew how to control the pace and initiative of the fight, hitting with his hands, but without rushing. He knocked him down with a left straight in the first round and repeated in the second, landing a series of punches that finished off the Chinese, who had never been knocked out.
