Israel Adesanya successfully defended the middleweight championship belt UFC after winning by unanimous points over Marvin Vettori in UFC 263, Sunday (13/6).
Adesanya, who returned to the middle class, was under great pressure from Vettori at the start of the first round.
Vettori had been in the top position in the duel on the mat. Vettori continued to urge Adesanya and fired several punches.
After the match resumes in a standing position, Vettori can also push Adesanya so that Adesanya has a hard time attacking.
But Adesanya also managed to land a landslide attack on Vettori’s defense in the last two minutes.

Attempts to attack each other continued in the second round. Vettori relies more on a combination of punches while Adesanya has a variety of attacks through punches and kicks.
The tension of the match increased in the third round when Vettori managed to release the lock from Adesanya’s back. Adesanya can dodge and escape from the lock and attack back.
The match was stopped because Vettori’s eye was caught by Adesanya’s hand in the middle of the third round.
In the last minute, Vettori lost his balance after being hit by Adesanya’s kick.

Adesanya then made a punch in the restricted area so the match was stopped again.
Vettori kept trying to suppress and bring down Adesanya through a take down in the fourth round. But Vettori’s attack was ineffective. Instead some of Adesanya’s punches and kicks landed on Vettori’s defense.
Vettori continued to try to get the victory via submission in the last round with a take down attempt. But Adesanya can keep his defense tight.
Adesanya also won through the jury’s decision with a unanimous number victory at the end of the match.
