The main activities of the subsidiaries are real estate development, property trading, real estate investments, project procurement and management, hotel operations and investment holding. The Company operates through three segments: Real Estate Development, Real Estate Investments and Hotel Operations and Other. The real estate development segment includes the development and sale of residential and commercial properties as well as the sale of land. The Real Estate Investments and Hotel Operations segment is designed to generate rental income and/or capital appreciation, including hotel operations. The Other segment includes investment holding, asset and facility management, project management, cropping, land leasing and others. Its subsidiaries include Sunrise Berhad, UEM Land Berhad, UEM Sunrise (Australia) Sdn. Bhd., UEM Sunrise (Canada) Sdn. Bhd. and UEM Sunrise Properties Sdn. Bhd.
