UEFA announced on Wednesday that it had imposed a ten-match ban on Slavia Prague defender Ondrej Kúdela for “racist behavior” with Rangers player Kamara in the Europa League round of 32.
The European football governing body had opened an investigation after the game, after the two players had been involved in clashes, and provisionally suspended Kudela.
At the basis of the punishment for the Czech game are insults that will have been given in Kamara’s ear, towards the end of the match.
Kamara was also punished, but for three games, due to aggression following the same investigation.
