Eintracht without six players in Leverkusen
Eintracht Frankfurt travels to Leverkusen without Rafael Borré (suspended), Martin Hinteregger, Erik Durm (both ill, no corona), Jesper Lindström, Christopher Lenz (both injured) and Sebastian Rode (load control). This was explained by coach Oliver Glasner on Sunday at the press conference before the game. “West Ham is our top priority but we take Leverkusen very seriously,” said the coach. At the same time, he announced that there would be changes in the starting line-up in terms of load management. Glasner clearly responded to any criticism of a “distortion of competition”: “Everyone should concentrate on their club. I don’t comment on other teams either and just look at what’s best for Eintracht Frankfurt.”
