UEFA Nations League: Belgium concedes 4 goals, Netherlands brushes off neighbors

This is the most Belgium have conceded since being beaten 5-2 by Switzerland in the same event in November 2018!

The Netherlands have beaten their neighbors, Belgium, for the first time since 1997!

Most recently, the Oranje squad won over Belgium with a score of 4-1 at Stade Roi Baudouin, Brussels in the opening match of Group A4 UEFA Nations League, Saturday (4/6) early morning WIB.

Without main goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois, Belgium fell behind in the first half through Steven Bergwijn’s long-range strike in the 40th minute.

The Netherlands went crazy in the second half. Memphis Depay doubled the score in the 51st minute before taking a three-goal lead via Denzel Dumfries ten minutes later.

Belgian defensive line increasingly messy. Depay scored his second goal in this match as well as sealed the victory for Louis van Gaal’s squad in the 65th minute.
