The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) fined the Lithuanian Football Federation (LFF) for slogans addressed to the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin during the qualifying match for the 2024 European Championship against Serbia (1:3), the LFF press service reports.
UEFA fined LFF 10 thousand euros. The Lithuanian Football Federation intends to appeal.
The Lithuanian team is in fourth place in the Group G standings with 6 points.
