UEFA explains that Madrid Atletico fans have shown “discriminatory behavior” in the first game of the quarterfinals.
The Spanish daily sports newspaper Marca last week published a video in which Atletico fans demonstrated a Nazi greeting during the game.
Atletico’s Champions League quarter-final response with City has been ordered to close at least 5,000 seats in its stadium and show a huge “No to Racism” anti-racism banner in the field.
The Spanish champions lost “City” 0: 1 to the guests on April 5.
The answer game will take place on April 13 in Madrid.
The quarterfinals will be scheduled for April 12 and 13, and the semifinals will take place on April 26/27 and May 3rd.
In the UEFA Champions League group tournament, 32 teams were divided into eight groups of four each. The first two entered the next round, the third moved to the Europa League, and the fourth European Cup season was over.
The finals of this season will take place on May 28 in Paris, although it was originally scheduled for St. Petersburg. After Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, UEFA deprived St. Petersburg of the right to host the final.
