How does the draw for the quarter-finals and semi-finals work?

The draw will determine the pairings for the quarter-finals and semi-finals, and a draw will also be held to determine the ‘home’ team in the final for administrative reasons.

The draws are open, so there are no seedings. In addition, teams from the same country can face each other.

The first team drawn plays the first game at home against the second team drawn.

This season’s final will take place at the Stade de France in Paris, which also hosted the same event in 2000 and 2006, as well as the final of UEFA EURO 2016. The match kicks off at 21:00CET on Saturday 28 May .
