UEFA announced various measures for continental tournaments.
The UEFA Executive Committee has agreed, before the war situation in Israel and the Gaza Strip, “after an exhaustive evaluation of the current security situation” in Israeli territory, that no European match be played there until further notice.
The continental body, as reported this Thursday in a statement, has requested the Israel Football Association and its clubs Maccabi Haifa and Maccabi Tel Aviv to propose alternative venues and stadiums outside the country’s territory to play their home matches while said decision is in force.
UEFA has announced In addition, the Villarreal-Maccabi Haifa Europa League match, scheduled for Thursday the 26th at La Cerámica, is postponed to Wednesday, December 6, and Maccabi Tel Aviv vs Zorya Luhansk, of the Conference League, to Saturday, November 25.
Regarding the Champions League Youth, Maccabi Haifa has announced its withdrawal, so Sparta Prague is classified for the second round.
