UEFA Announces Measures for Continental Tournaments amid Israeli Conflict

UEFA announced various measures for continental tournaments.

The UEFA Executive Committee has agreed, before the war situation in Israel and the Gaza Strip, “after an exhaustive evaluation of the current security situation” in Israeli territory, that no European match be played there until further notice.

The continental body, as reported this Thursday in a statement, has requested the Israel Football Association and its clubs Maccabi Haifa and Maccabi Tel Aviv to propose alternative venues and stadiums outside the country’s territory to play their home matches while said decision is in force.
