The leader of the UDMR senators, Lorand Turos, considers that this coalition must go further and stated that USR PLUS can propose another Minister of Justice, in place of Stelian Ion, dismissed by Prime Minister Florin Cîţu. “I don’t think the issue of changing the prime minister should be raised at the moment,” he said.
Lorand Turos was asked, on Wednesday evening, at Digi 24, if Prime Minister Florin Cîţu should resign.
“I don’t think the issue of changing the prime minister should be raised at the moment. If it is the case, it will be a decision of the coalition and a decision of the PNL. I don’t think we should enter into such speculations now,” the senator leader said. UDMR, according to news.ro.
He noted that this coalition must move forward.
“If we can agree on important issues, USR PLUS can propose another minister and it will occupy a negotiated portfolio in the coalition talks. (…) I think this coalition needs to move forward. I don’t think there is another “I hope that USR PLUS will not oppose together with PSD and AUR, much less I think they will govern together”, Lorand Turos transmitted.
