Udinese Shocks Serie A: Clinches Second Place with Stunning Free Kick Victory Over Lecce

Rome (AFP)

Udinese, the surprise surprise of the season, rose to second place by beating hosts Lecce 1-0 in the seventh round of the Italian Football League.
Udinese raised its score to 13 points, three points behind leaders Napoli, and one point ahead of Juventus, who host Cagliari on Sunday.
Zimbabwe’s Jordan Zemura scored the only goal of the game, quarter of an hour before the end of the game, by executing a simply brilliant free kick.
Udinese came top of the standings after finishing fourth and played the match against Lecce without their top scorer, Frenchman Florian Thauvin, due to a muscle injury.
