Thiruvananthapuram – Forest Minister A.K. March of UDF MLAs to Saseendran’s official residence. The march demanding the resignation of the Forest Minister started in front of the Legislative Assembly. The march was stopped by the police before it reached the residence of the Forest Minister.
The march was led by a banner that read ‘The culprit is not the unconscious elephant, but the incompetent government’. Although it was initially announced as a march of MLAs from the hill region, UDF MLAs from other regions also participated in the march.
Opposition leader V.D. said that the forest minister is handling the wildlife attack lightly. Satheesan alleged. He also warned that more large-scale protests will be organized in the coming days.
