The yellow team signs an international agreement with the Spurs entertainment holding company and its football division, San Antonio Football Club of the United States.
The Unión Deportiva Las Palmas continues to grow and expand internationally. The yellow entity has several people working solely for it and the Gran Canarian club has closed an agreement with the San Antonio Football Club that “will have as its starting point the exchange of knowledge, the development of players, training techniques and growth of the club,” explains the club.
With this affiliation, the players and coaches of the San Antonio Football Club Professional Academy will have the opportunity to learn from the staff of the Unión Deportiva Las Palmas, who recently traveled with a delegation to the United States to strengthen ties that have resulted in this agreement.
One of the points agreed upon is the holding of a friendly match in 2025 in the United States: “San Antonio FC will host an international friendly against La UD Palmas in 2025, making it the first time a Spanish team visits Toyota Field. The clubs will also collaborate to hold training camps, pre-seasons and tournaments in San Antonio.”
