The central act, to be held on May 19 at the Ramos Carrión Theater, for the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Unión Deportiva San Lorenzo, one of the great academy clubs of our city and province, created by Pedro San Martín, technical and political engineer, native of Palencia, hence the Zamoran club shirt has always been the abode.
In this presentation ceremony, along with the Commercial and Marketing director of the Zamora financial entity, Narciso Prieto, were the Deputy for Sports and 2nd Vice President of the Provincial Council, Jesús María Prada Saavedra; the Councilor for Sports of the Zamora City Council, Manuel Alexander Alonso, and the founder of the Zamorano club, the aforementioned Pedro San Martín, who recalled how he created UD San Lorenzo and recounted numerous anecdotes lived during this half century of life.
We remember that this team produced players who played in First Division teams and who also nurtured the first team of this city and province, Zamora CF. Of the importance of the purple entity, the presence of the highest political representatives of the City Council and Provincial Council.
Now Zamoran football fans have an appointment at the Ramos Carrión, next Thursday, May 19, at 9:15 p.m.
