Departmental delegates of radicalism from the entire province of Córdoba met on Saturday afternoon with the Political Action Commission of “Línea Córdoba” (internal sector of the UCR chaired by Amadeo Sabattini, Arturo Illia and Eduardo Angeloz, among others) to analyze the situation of the match.
In addition, new authorities were put in place. The presidency was held by Paola Campitelli (pro-secretary general of the UNC and doctor in Agricultural Sciences), and the vice-presidency, in the hands of the graduate in Political Sciences and former senator Jorge Savid.
“Political correctness at this historical moment is a condemnation of inconsequentiality. We must get out of the limbo of indefinition. Today, political correctness and the over-theatricalization of the institutional are two sides of the same coin whose relief describes, in part, the path to failure, in a province where we have had 25 years of defeats,” stated outgoing president Javier Fabre (current councilor of the city of Córdoba).

For his part, Savid expressed: “I started in the Radical Youth and today my grandchildren accompany me here. That’s why it’s a great honor to be able to help this team. We have to do what radicalism once knew how to do: win elections. Today it is a party that only knows how to expel people and we reach the absurdity of having an empty Radical House and at the same time a Forum of Mayors that rents a headquarters with contributions from neighbors.
For her part, the new president of the historic sector said that they have to rebuild the party.
“The challenge is to rebuild the radicalism of Córdoba that once knew how to fill us with pride, that is why we are going to go with serious projects, concerned and occupied with the well-being of the people, facilitating and modernizing the institutions,” he concluded.
