Same competition format
The competition format will be the same as last year. The group champions of the first phase will qualify directly for the ‘Top 16’, while the second and third will have to dispute the ‘play in’ in the month of January.
The sixteen teams that will remain alive in the continental competition, which has gained in level especially in the last two courses, will be divided into four groups of four, with the first two going to the quarterfinals, to be held in April, in a best-of-three series.
