In the future, UBS will transfer data from Homegate directly to its digital mortgage platform “key4”. The bank wants to simplify real estate financing. In addition, “key4” can now be used to take out new mortgages from various lenders.
UBS is expanding its digital mortgage platform “key4” to include a collaboration with the real estate broker Homegate. The bank announced that the process of searching for a property should be simplified by linking the two platforms. Users of the online mortgage platform “key4” received an offer for the financing of their dream property “with just a few clicks”. For this purpose, data from Homegate would automatically be transferred to «key4» and the entry of all specifications for a desired object would be eliminated. The functionality is part of the consistent strategy of «key4» to optimize and digitize processes, it is said.
In addition, mortgage holders can now use the key4 platform launched at the end of June to extend more than just existing mortgages. In fact, new mortgages can now also be concluded with immediate effect. Interested parties can find offers for both long and short terms on «key4». According to the communiqué, you can choose between offers from various Swiss lenders for each individual tranche. Users of the online mortgage platform “key4” received an offer for the financing of their dream property “with just a few clicks”. “This is an innovation in the Swiss real estate market”, Martha Böckenfeld, Head of Digital Platforms & Marketplaces at UBS, is quoted in the press release.
Finally, according to UBS, Saron mortgages with variable interest rates can now also be combined with a fixed-rate mortgage. A newly integrated mortgage and maximum purchase price calculator on «key4» should ultimately help to determine the monthly costs of a mortgage and its affordability.
