Breast cancer has become one of the most feared types of cancer for women, but fortunately it has been created an innovative bra that can detect itas well as other breast diseases.
The UBRA project was created by students from Pompeu Fabra University and is responsible for monitor and detect early this dreaded cancer in order to avoid current overdiagnosis and overtreatment.
How will the UBRA bra work?
According to UPF, the bra will be able to locate breast cancer using ultrasonic, mechanical and thermal sensors that allow to identify the morphological and physiological changes of the patients.
Subsequently, the data that is collected will be sent via bluetooth to an app that has artificial intelligence capable of analyzing them.
This system will provide information so that the user can learn more about their health status in order to anticipate and alter any disease that is in its initial state.
