A report from PC Gamer states that there are 4 games that will be present in storefronts, namely Far Cry 6, Riders Republic, Rainbow Six Extraction, and Monopoly Madness. The four games will arrive on May 11, June 8, June 15 and June 22 respectively.
The game was available for PC previously only via the Epic Games Store and Ubisoft Connect. With its presence on Steam, it will certainly further expand the market for the game.
As reported by Engadget, Sunday (23/4/2023), Ubisoft itself is known to have been absent from the Steam platform for 3 years, starting in 2019.
But Ubisoft started releasing their games via Steam back in 2022.
The game title that marked Ubisoft’s comeback through Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Anno 1800.
This then continued in early 2023, with the release of The Division 2 and other game titles Watch Dogs: Legion which were previously unavailable on Steam at all.
Previously when Ubisoft left Steam in 2019, it was reported that The Division 2 pre-orders had actually increased sixfold in Ubisoft’s storefront.
