Just in time for the 20th anniversary of “Beyond Good & Evil”, the French company Ubisoft releases a new version of the adventure.
After speculation online has Ubisoft finally confirmed “Beyond Good & Evil 20th Anniversary Edition”. The cult game was released in the fall of 2003 in North America and early in 2004 in Europe. Just in time for the anniversary, a new updated edition of the game is coming, writes the French company on Twitter/X.

We “Beyond Good & Evil” fans have not been spoiled since the first game was released. Plans for a sequel were revealed with a trailer in 2008, then it was dead quiet until 2017. Then we got a new trailer for a brand new “Beyond Good & Evil 2”. Since then, it’s been pretty quiet from Ubisoft.
In “Beyond Good & Evil” we get to play as the reporter Jade, who works together with rebels to overthrow the aliens who have taken over the world. In this action adventure you have to solve puzzles, take on enemies and use your camera to get to the bottom of a big conspiracy.
