Ubisoft could soon present its new video game project, a free Battle Royale: Hyper Scape.
A new Battle Royale is expected to arrive this summer
Warzone, Apex Legends, Fortnite and PUBG, to name but a few, might (perhaps) be concerned; according to the latest information that leaked on the web, Ubisoft is preparing to launch very soon a new Batlle Royale by the name of Hyper Scape.
Rod “Slasher” Breslau announced on Twitter that the game Hyper Scape (originally called Prisma Dimensions) would indeed be a free Battle Royale of the FPS multiplayer type and that it would be developed by Ubisoft Montreal (Rainbow Six, Assassin’s Creed, Far Cry …). The game would evolve in a mode in a futuristic virtual world and would be available both on PC and on console in CrossPlay. Slasher also clarified that a beta would apparently be scheduled for next week and that the full launch of the game would take place around mid-July, as part of the Summer Game Fest; on the same date, the studio is organizing the Ubisoft Forward and could take the opportunity to reveal Hyper Scape.
For its launch, Ubisoft could partner with Twitch to set up “integration levels never seen before”, Twitch chat could, among other things, have a direct impact on Hyper Scape with changing events in the game .
