Ubisoft will launch 5 AAA games between April 2020 and March 2021, including Assassin’s Creed and Far Cry

The French publisher has gone through a complicated period following the recent failures of games like Ghost Recon: Breakpoint and The Division 2. However, Ubisoft will try to raise the bar with its very ambitious future productions.

During his conference call on his financial results, Ubisoft has mapped out its roadmap for the new fiscal year. It will start at the beginning of April and will end on March 31, 2021. Over the next 12 months, the multinational led by Yves Guillemot has declared that it wants to release no less than 5 AAA games, ie projects benefiting from a very large budget.

Ubisoft won’t take big risks

The titles in question are Gods & monsters, Rainbow Six Quarantine and Watch Dogs Legion. These three games had been rejected by Ubisoft last october following the disappointing results achieved by the company. But the editor will play big with the arrival of new consoles and other softwares will undoubtedly accompany the release of these machines.

So according to the reporter from Kotaku Jason Schreier, the other two games will be next Assassin’s Creed and far cry. Alas, no Splinter Cell on the horizon or even of Beyond Good & Evil 2. What is certain is that Ubisoft teams will have to redouble their efforts to erase the poor performance of 2019.
