Today, Ubisoft has fully unveiled the new season for the successful multiplayer first-person shooter Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege, as well as its new operator.

The new season, which kicks off on August 29th, is called Operation Heavy Mettle and includes a South Korean operative codenamed “Ram” that was reported a few days ago and that we already knew about from the annual roadmap.

We also get to know the content of the season, as well as how Ram fights alongside his small tank drone “BU-GI Auto-Breacher”, which is capable of destroying everything in its path.

The season will also include updates to Grim, Fuse, and Frost, significant changes to shotguns to improve their performance, a new weapon roulette mode in the permanent arcade playlist, and more.

You can see all this in the video below.

Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege has been around for many years and, despite its relatively slow start, is still very popular with fans, regularly contributing quite a bit to Ubisoft’s revenue.

The game is currently available for PC, PS4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
