When the developers of Rainbow Six: Quarantine in 2019 officially announced, the world was still fine. Unfortunately, the advent of covid-19 made this classic sci-fi premise an uncomfortably topical issue and since it would Ubisoft liked to release the game this year, he decided to present it in a slightly different light. He changed the name of the game, the word quarantine we hear today in unpleasant contexts, and there are probably few people who would find it tempting.
For Ubisoft, the name change is nothing new in recent months, last year, due to a potential dispute with the energy drink brand, Monster changed its game Gods and Monsters to Immortals Fenyx Rising. It did not have a negative effect on its quality, see ours review.
