Ubisoft Releases Assassin’s Creed The Ezio Collection for Nintendo Switch – Gaming – News

The Assassin’s Creed games starring Ezio Auditore are coming to Nintendo Switch as a collection. Ubisoft has announced that. The game collection will be available on February 17 under the name Assassin’s Creed The Ezio Collection.

The Ezio Collection includes Assassin’s Creed II, Brotherhood and Revelations, including all the single-player DLC released for the games. In addition, the short films Assassin’s Creed Lineage and Embers are also included in the collection. In this chapter of the Assassin’s Creed series, the player plays as Ezio Auditori da Firenze in 15th century Italy.

The collection is not new, in 2016 it was already released for the Xbox One and PS4, but now it’s coming to the Nintendo Switch. The games got a makeover in 2016 with better graphics at 1080p resolution, compared to the original release of the games. For the Switch version, the game will not be remastered again, but Ubisoft is talking about “improved features” for the Switch, including a vibration function, “handheld mode”, touch interface and an improved HUD. The Switch version will not have the online multiplayer mode that came in Brotherhood and Revelations.

The collection costs 49.99 euros and is available as a digital download. It will be playable from February 17. There will also be a physical version of the collection for the Switch, with Assassin’s Creed II on a cartridge and the rest as a digital download of 35GB, but it is not yet available in Ubisoft’s Dutch web store.
