Ubisoft plans to release five AAA games by April 2021, possibly including new Far Cry and Assassin’s Creed

If we are to believe the words of the big boss of Ubisoft Yves Guillemot, the French publisher will not be unemployed in the coming months, when he plans to release five AAA games by April 2021.

Guillemot took advantage of a conference call with Ubisoft investors to unveil the company’s short and medium term plans, reported IGN.

If the CEO did not specify what these five major titles will be, he nevertheless mentioned that the expected sequel to Beyond Good and Evil will not be part of the lot.

That said, we already know that three important Ubisoft games saw, a few months ago, their delayed release date within this period, either Watch Dogs: Legion, Gods and monsters and Rainbow Six Quarantine.

Unless there are further postponements, we can therefore deduce that there would be three of the publisher’s five games there which will appear by April 2021.

As for the other two, the journalist from Kotaku Jason Schreier says it could be new Assassin’s Creed and far cry.

In any case, if this one is right, the next year will undoubtedly be a busy one for Ubisoft.

According to Yves Guillemot, three of these five AAA games will be released more precisely between October and the end of December 2020, while the other two will arrive on the shelves between January 2021 and the end of March 2021.

We will be watching all of this closely!
