Ubisoft came right away with a pair of announcements. The first concerns the Ubisoft + subscription, which is currently only available on PC and Stadia. For about 370 crowns a month, users have access to more than a hundred games from Ubisoft, including new games. And this service will appear on current Xbox consoles in the future.
However, this does not mean that it will become part of the Game Pass, ie a subscription from Microsoft. The French company has already confirmed that it will be a separate subscription. But who knows, EA Play from Electronic Arts joined the Game Pass later as well. The question then is whether the price would not increase or more subscription levels.
The second announcement concerns the upcoming Rainbow Six Extraction tactical action, which will be released on January 20 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X / S. And this is exactly what will appear on the day of release in the Game Pass service, even on a PC.
This is good news for players for two reasons. On the one hand, we can try the game cheaply without having to buy it. And if you enjoy it, thanks to the Game Pass release, finding a player will not be a problem.
“We prove that we believe in the value and choice that game subscriptions offer to players. Rainbow Six Extraction for Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass members is just the beginning. Finally, we will offer Ubisoft + to Xbox owners to enjoy the full range of our Ubisoft + game library on their consoles, including news, ”said Chris Early, Ubisoft’s senior vice president of strategic partnerships and business development.
