Many fans hoped that Ubisoft would show a new trailer for Assassin’s Creed Mirage at the Game Awards 2022, but that didn’t happen. Ubisoft Bordeaux has seen fit to show a new screenshot of the game. On its Twitter, the studio posted not a picture, but a short video comparison of two screenshots: one from Mirage, the second from Assassin’s Creed 1.
The new Assassin’s Creed Mirage screenshot is an almost 1:1 recreation of the original AC 1 screenshot. The background is changed to match the Baghdad setting of Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Basim takes Altair’s place, and enemies are swapped to match the ‘setting.
No release date has ever been given for AC Mirage, just a window of 2023.
