Ubisoft games for next fiscal year may have leaked | News

Assassin’s Creed, Avatar en The Division

Ubisoft plans to release 11 games between April 2023 and March 2024 across console, PC, and mobile platforms. Insider Gaming sources report this.

In the next fiscal year, Ubisoft reportedly plans to launch a team of new games to be released, some of which have not yet been officially announced. View an overview below.

The next installment in the Assassin’s Creed series was revealed in September by Ubisoft after a series of leaked images. In this new installment, players take on the role of Basim, a character who previously appeared in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Mirage is largely set in the city of Baghdad in the year 861 and, according to the developer, has a much smaller scale than previous games in the series. Assassin’s Creed Mirage has no release date yet.

The Division Heartland is a free-to-play survival shooter set in The Division universe. The game is separate from the other games in the series, but retains certain gameplay aspects from the previous games such as the third-person view. At the moment it is possible to register for the closed beta on the game website. The Division Heartland does not have a release date yet.

The pirate game Skull and Bones, revealed in 2017, has recently been postponed again by Ubisoft. In the title, players assumed the role of a pirate to sail the sea, destroy other ships or find treasures. The game was originally supposed to be released in March, but no new release date has been announced yet.

Rainbow Six Mobile is essentially a mobile version of Rainbow Six Siege: a tactical first-person shooter with a focus on characters and their traits. Many maps and Operators from Rainbow Six Siege are also available in this mobile version, with some compromises made to make the game playable on smartphones. Rainbow Six Mobile was originally set to release in 2022 and has no new release date yet.

Codename Jade is the working title of the upcoming Assassin’s Creed mobile game. Jade is set in ancient China, in which players climb the Great Wall of China, among other things. This is also the first game in the series where players can create and personalize their own character. No release date has yet been set for Codename Jade.

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora was originally announced in 2017, but disappeared from the radar shortly after. Details about the game appeared in 2021. For example, the game tells an original story with new characters and there are hints that the game can be played in first person perspective. Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora was originally set to release in 2022 and has no new release date yet.

This free-to-play multiplayer shooter pits characters from various Tom Clancy series such as The Division, Ghost Recon and Splinter Cell in 6v6 matches. In xDefiant, the unique properties of classes are of great importance during fast-paced gunfights. At the moment, Ubisoft is conducting several closed tests of the game, but no release date has been announced yet xDefiant.

Project Orland is the working title of the next game in the Crew series, about which little is currently known. Originally the game was going to be an expansion to The Crew 2, but it would have grown into its own game. The game may also be titled Motorfest and has no release date yet.

The third Assassin’s Creed game on this list, Nexus would be a virtual reality game where players control different characters from the series. For example, Ezio from Assassin’s Creed 2 would be playable and the game would contain sixteen levels. Furthermore, little is known about Assassin’s Creed Nexus, the game does not yet have a release date.

The Division Resurgence is a free-to-play smartphone game similar to the other Division games. For example, just like the original game, it takes place in New York and contains the open-world and third-person shooter mechanics of console games. Players can register for beta testing of the game, although no release date has been announced yet.

Finally, Ubisoft and Netflix are said to be working on an Assassin’s Creed mobile game that will be released through Netflix Games. The game would contain no ads.
