Ubisoft+ game subscription is coming to Xbox

A man holds a controller of the Xbox Series X gaming console. Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X have been on the market for a year, but there are still supply problems.

Ubisoft has announced that its Ubisoft+ subscription service will soon be available to Xbox users. For a monthly fee, the service grants access to more than 100 of the company’s video games, from the “Anno” series to “Far Cry” and “Assassin’s Creed.” Ubisoft has not yet specified the exact release date.

Ubisoft+ (Uplay until 2019) is currently only available on PC. It has not yet been revealed if there will be differences between PC and console, nor has there been talk of integrating the subscription into Microsoft’s Game Pass. In addition to Ubisoft, its competitor EA has already decided to cooperate with Microsoft’s console platform in the competitive game subscription market. EA Play is already part of Game Pass.
