Ubisoft Announces December Release for ‘Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora’ Game Based on James Cameron’s Movie

In today’s Ubisoft Forward press conference, Ubisoft announced that the game “Avatar: Frontier of Pandora” in cooperation with James Cameron’s movie “Avatar” will be launched on December 7.

Ubisoft has released a new trailer for The Division’s Massive Entertainment, which is developing it in partnership with Lightstorm Entertainment and Disney. James Cameron stated that the story of the game and the story of the film “co-exists”.

In this open world, the player plays the role of a Na’vi who was kidnapped and raised by the human military company RDA since he was a child. After waking up in Pandora many years later, he is quite strange to the original world. The player needs to relearn the existence of the Na’vi Meaning and searching for the legacy of the ancestors, while also facing the RDA that comes back again.

In the game, adventure in the Pandora region not seen in the movie, will fight against the threat of human invasion. In the first-person gameplay, players can customize the appearance of the Na’vi, but they have been trained by RDA, so you can also use human weapons, including rifles, rocket launchers, etc. to protect Pandora. The game can be played solo or co-op.

Avatar: Pandora’s Frontier will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Amazon Luna, and PC (Ubisoft Connect) on December 7.
