According to the news of Shiftdelete’s Ömer Dursun, a Twitter user recently shared an e-mail he claimed to have received from Ubisoft. Accordingly, Ubisoft stated that accounts suspended due to inactivity will be permanently deleted within 30 days in accordance with the Terms of Use.
He stated that the games in the suspended accounts will also be removed automatically. However, the email also includes a “Cancel Account Suspension” link, which allows players to recover their accounts and libraries.
This has managed to attract the attention of millions of users playing Ubisoft games. To avoid confusion, Ubisoft’s social media managers intervened. In the comment to the post, he confirmed that clicking this link will prevent account deletion.
