Recently cases are starting to multiplywhen Ubisoft sent an email warning to players about possible deletion of their account due to inactivity. If users do not respond to this email and do not renew their Ubisoft account, it will be deleted thirty days after receiving the email.
At the same time, some players report on social networks that they have deleted their account at the same time, they lost access to purchased games, which they owned on Steam and the Ubisoft Connect platform. In order to play selected games from Ubisoft on Steam, you need to have an active Ubisoft Connect account at the same time.
Subsequently, it became clear that players who log into their Ubisoft account are at risk of account deletion they have not applied for more than 4 years. We will see how the whole case will develop in the future. Ubisoft is already facing loud criticism from players.
This is just horrifying.
Ubisoft CONFIRMS they will delete your account & purchased games if you go inactive for too long!!!
Ubisoft.. WTF?! Another example of why I’m becoming more & more concerned with the death of physical games. pic.twitter.com/4MD7yYwUFM
