Ubisoft closes inactive accounts that lose purchases
Ubisoft is canceling “inactive” Ubisoft accounts, preventing users from accessing their previously purchased games. According to a user on Twitter an inactive user will receive an email from Ubisoft warning that if they don’t click on a link in that email, their account will be suspended. In response, Ubisoft said via Twitter:
We just wanted to point out that you can prevent account closure by logging into your account within 30 days and selecting the Cancel Account Closure link in the email.
