Uber’s play goes wrong in Barcelona, 4 days without being able to do services
EThe taxi has taken Barcelona again, this time, to denounce the arrival of Uber to the city of Barcelona for the third time.
But now it is different, Uber has entered the Catalan capital as it does throughout the world, without authorization from the administrations, however, this time it has run into everyone against it, except some of the corrupt powers.
The Metropolitan Taxi Institute (IMET) is the manager of the public service in the Barcelona metropolitan area and has warned Uber up to three times that it does not comply with the regulations to be able to operate.
All political parties have positioned themselves in favor of public taxi transport and most of them with explicit and public support.
The Decree of the Government of the Generalitat of February 2019 makes it very clear who can operate in Barcelona, the IMET agrees with the taxi drivers and the multinational transport makes a fool of itself after spending the money on a media campaign without repercussions.

The president of the Parliament of Catalonia, Laura Borràs, came out to greet the taxi drivers at the doors of the Parliament to show her support for the sector.
The war continues in Barcelona, but everything suggests that Uber will leave Barcelona with its tail between its legs.
