Dubai, United Arab Emirates: Uber has announced a reduction in the fare of its environmentally friendly “Uber Green” product, in line with the tariff of the most affordable “Uber X” product in its fleet, with the aim of contributing to reducing emissions and encouraging more riders to demand sustainable trips in the lead-up to The 28th session of the Conference of the Parties “COP 28” is being held.
The tariff reduction comes as part of Uber’s commitment to achieving its goal of making 1 out of every 4 trips in the UAE emissions-free by 2030, in line with the government’s goals to achieve net zero emissions in the country.
