UAZ began selling cars at factory prices through an online platform. This was reported in the company’s press service.
“UAZ has launched online sales of cars at factory prices,” the automaker reports to Autonews. They added that potential buyers can select a car remotely and use the configurator to determine the required modifications, configuration, color and options. The vehicles will be ready for pickup within three to six months from the time the order is placed and prices will be in line with suggested retail prices (RRP).
At the same time, for customers wishing to purchase a car from a dealer, UAZ introduced an additional fee of 50 thousand rubles. Company representatives explained that this is a fee for delivering cars to dealership showrooms. They noted that in the second half of this year, UAZ faced a sharp increase in tariffs for logistics services, which led to a more than doubling of the cost of transporting finished products across Russia from the beginning of 2023. In this regard, from November 1, the company is forced to introduce partial compensation for the cost of delivering cars to dealerships, the company concluded.
