Abu Dhabi: Visitor numbers to Oman on the rise after UAE tourist visa renewal law goes into effect. With the implementation of the law, there has been a huge increase in the number of visitors to the neighboring country of Oman for visa renewal. Omani authorities said the number of people arriving by bus, private vehicle and plane has similarly increased.
The UAE has suspended the ability to renew their visa online for those who reach their three-month tourist visa period. Due to this, the cost of renewing a Dubai visit visa has increased to a large extent.
When the visa expires, visitors return with a renewed visa after leaving the country. Once you have crossed the border into the UAE, you can apply for a visa online. If you apply online this way, your visa will be available within four to eight hours. It has been reported that travel companies in Oman are preparing tour plans after the new visa renewal law came into force in the UAE. Companies charge a fixed amount for the package which includes bus fare, visa cost and accommodation.
Accommodation facilities are mainly provided to visitors in border areas of Oman such as Akhar, Liwa and Shinaz. Visitors who come to the UAE to look for work will have to spend a lot of money to go home on a new visa after their visa expires. Also, flight fares are going up tremendously in the current season and this will lead to an increase in the cost of flying home. With this, the number of visitors to Oman is increasing.
