Al Ain, 31 October / WAM / His Excellency Zaki Anwar Nusseibeh, Cultural Advisor to His Highness the President of the State, Supreme President of the United Arab Emirates University, this morning honored a number of researchers who have published in the most prestigious international journals at a rate of 1% and 5% for the year 2022.
In his speech during the honoring ceremony, His Excellency Zaki Nusseibeh praised the outstanding achievements of the UAE University, represented by the university’s faculty members, researchers and students who succeeded in publishing their scientific works in the most prestigious leading scientific journals in the world.
His Excellency said: “This success of yours represents the high quality of research carried out by the UAE University, and publishing the results of research in respected academic scientific journals at the global level is extremely important, as it is considered an acknowledgment and indicator of the excellence and leadership of your scientific and research efforts and adds to the university’s global reputation.” “.
His Excellency added: “At the UAE University, we focus on research that has a positive impact and can support the nation’s sustainable development needs and facilitate its transition to a knowledge economy. Publishing the results of your research in leading journals at the global level contributes to achieving the aspirations and directions of the wise leadership, improving the reputation of the university and the state, and achieving the vision.” Nationalism aims to ensure that the UAE becomes a global leader in all fields.”
It is worth noting that fifteen researchers who published in the most prestigious international journals at a rate of 1% were honored, and the total number of researchers who published their research in 2022 in international journals reached 84 faculty researchers and 22 student researchers, distributed between 1% and 5. % of international journals, which confirms the university’s pioneering role and its keenness to participate constructively in global scientific contributions.
