The launch of the activities of the fourth session of the “The Most Beautiful Winter in the World” campaign topped the tourism scene in the country this week, which also recorded great achievements by the hotel sector and national carriers that embody their superiority and global leadership.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, “may God protect him,” launched the national domestic tourism campaign, “The Most Beautiful Winter in the World,” in its fourth session for the year 2024.

His Highness said: “The national tourism sector is growing annually, thank God. Our goal is to reach 450 billion dirhams as a contribution to the gross domestic product by 2031.”

The campaign was launched this year under the slogan “Unforgettable Stories,” as it will highlight the most important attractions in each emirate of the country. It will also provide full support to all visitors, with diverse programs and an agenda full of events and events, reflecting the diversity of the UAE’s environment, its tourism potential, and its social specificity. The UAE tourism sector achieved positive performance indicators, as revenues from hotel establishments in the country rose to 32.2 billion dirhams during the period from January to September 2023, with a growth rate of 27% compared to the same period in 2022, and the number of hotel establishment guests reached 20.2 million guests during the same period, with a growth rate. It reached 12% compared to the same period in 2022, and the hotel occupancy rate reached 75% during the first 9 months of last year, with a growth rate of 6% compared to the same period in 2022.
