Dubai ∙ The fifth edition of the UAE Swat Challenge 2024 got off to a grand start in Dubai. Dubai Police Commander in Chief Lt. The challenge was officially inaugurated in the presence of General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri. A performance by the Dubai Police Band, fireworks and other performances took place. There was a huge turnout.
Omran Sharaf, Minister of State for Advanced Science and Technology, Saeed Hareb, Secretary General of Dubai Sports Council, senior officials, heads of diplomatic missions and police team leaders from different parts of the world were also present. Then the competitions of the police teams took place.
Big prize
More than 100 Swat teams from 70 countries are participating in the competitions which will be held till the 7th of this month. There will be 5,000 performances across 5 challenges. Winners will get huge prizes every day. Entry to watch matches is free.
