UAE Sends 82 Tons of Aid to Gaza, Continues ‘Birds of Kindness’ Mission

Dubai: The UAE has again prepared aid for the people suffering in Gaza. In addition to airdropping food products, the UAE has also been able to deliver more charitable aid by land. The charity work is part of the Gallant Night Three project launched by the UAE.

UAE planes have airdropped 82 tons of food products and other items for the affected people in northern Gaza. UAE’s aid distribution is called ‘Birds of Kindness’. The airdrop took place in two C17 Air Force planes.

With this, the amount of food products airdropped in northern Gaza reached 989 tons. In addition to this, the UAE volunteer team also sent more products to the women and children of Gaza. Hamood Abdullah Al Junaibi, Secretary General of the Emirates Red Crescent, said that the distribution of aid is in view of the need of women and children who are suffering the most.

Most of the products that were distributed were for daily needs and they said that despite the adverse situation, the movement will continue to deliver maximum aid to Gaza.
