Dubai: The UAE has decided to promote 8,385 senior officials in various security sectors in the emirate. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai. The promotion is given in recognition of the contribution made by the officers in enhancing the performance of security systems in the emirate. Police- 5680, General Directorate of Residency and Foreign Affairs (GDRFA) -1249, Civil Defense – 535 and State Security Department – 921 are the number of officers eligible for promotion. Deputy Chief of Police and General Security Lt. Gen. Dahi Khalfan Tamim thanked Sheikh Mohammed for playing a crucial role in the security system of the emirate.
