Dubai: The 16th group of people in need of treatment from Gaza has arrived in Abu Dhabi. They were brought in by plane as part of plans to provide treatment announced by UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
25 people in need of emergency treatment and 51 family members were brought to Abu Dhabi via Al Arish Airport in Egypt. Patients in need of emergency treatment were immediately transferred to the hospital and others to Emirates Humanitarian City.
Since the start of the war in Gaza, several charitable initiatives have been taking place under the leadership of the UAE. In addition to setting up a field hospital and providing treatment, treatment is being brought to Abu Dhabi. Aid including food has also been delivered to the people suffering in Gaza several times.
The charity work is part of the Gallant Night Three project announced by the President of the UAE. Planes of the UAE Air Force and the Egyptian Air Force are also providing joint air support. Most of the products are distributed for daily needs.
