A statement from the ministry also indicated that Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan stressed the importance of intensifying efforts to stop the “dangerous escalation,” during phone calls with the foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Egypt, Jordan, Morocco, Turkey, and France.
For his part, Emirati President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan discussed in phone calls the current developments in the region, with King Abdullah II of Jordan, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, Israeli President Isaac Herzog, and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, according to a news agency.
