Bishkek, 7 October / WAM / His Excellency Suhail bin Mohammed Faraj Faris Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, headed a high-level state delegation to the friendly Kyrgyz Republic, and during the visit he held several high-level meetings to explore opportunities to enhance cooperation between the two countries in all fields to raise the level of relations to the level of… It reflects the aspirations of the leadership of the two friendly countries.
Sader Japarov, President of the Kyrgyz Republic, received His Excellency Suhail Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, and his accompanying delegation, in the presence of His Excellency Dr. Muhammad Al-Ariqi, the UAE Ambassador to the Republic of Kazakhstan, and the UAE’s non-resident ambassador to Kyrgyzstan.
At the beginning of the meeting, His Excellency the Minister of Energy and Infrastructure conveyed the greetings of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him,” His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, “may God protect him,” and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed. Al Nahyan, Vice President of the State, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidential Office, and their wishes to the leadership of the Kyrgyz Republic and its friendly people for further advancement and progress.
The meeting discussed the mechanism for enhancing joint cooperation in various fields, especially in renewable energy, transportation and logistics services.
His Excellency Suhail Al Mazrouei also met with His Excellency Aqalbek Japarov, Prime Minister and Head of the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic. During the meeting, developments in bilateral relations were discussed, the outcomes of the meetings of the state delegation during the visit were reviewed, and the importance of establishing a mechanism to facilitate the process of strengthening economic and investment relations was reviewed.
At the conclusion of the visit, His Excellency Al Mazrouei and his accompanying delegation, in the presence of His Excellency Dr. Muhammad Al-Ariqi, the UAE Ambassador to the Republic of Kazakhstan and the non-resident UAE Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan, met with his Kyrgyz counterpart, His Excellency Talaybek Ibrayev, Minister of Energy of the Kyrgyz Republic, and the interest of the United Arab Emirates in developing relations was stressed. In the field of energy and renewable energy, Masdar Company is interested in investing in the Kyrgyz Republic in renewable energy projects.
The UAE delegation included senior officials representing government agencies and the private sector in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development, Masdar Company, Abu Dhabi Ports Group and Terminals Holding Company.
